- Philmont Gear meeting Sunday Oct 19th 5-6pm in the Scout Hut.
- Sign up now for the Wilderness Skills campout, weekend of October

- Meeting Sunday usual time usual place. We will be learning
wilderness skills via a presentation and activity and will be
conducting camp prep.
- No Trinity MB clinic this week. Cycling was held on October 4th and
does not have a second session.
- OA Day of Service, Saturday Oct 18th at the Chattahoochee River
National Recreation Area (Columns Drive entrace at the Cochran
Shoals location). See the Lodge website for more informmation.
- No meeting this Sunday due to Columbus Day holiday

- Service opportunity on Saturday October 11th 10am to noon, at the
Turner Family Cemetery in the Riverline Historic Area. The Turners
were mid-nineteenth century pioneer farmers who settled the land
where we live today. As a volunteer, you will have the unique
opportunity to learn some archaeology techniques from Suzanne
Sammons, while helping to restore a historic cemetery, a cornerstone
of our local American heritage. Hand pruners are a basic tool

186. Included in their library are copies of the original Scout
Handbook (1911 edition) and the original "Scouting for Boys" by Sir
